Dairy Queen is preparing for a big expansion across Ontario, and the Toronto Star published a story about the brand's development efforts, specifically in the Greater Toronto Area.
According to Director of Franchise Development Chris Falle, Dairy Queen’s Grill & Chill concept has plans to more than double in the GTA over the next several years.
The article also quotes Robert Carter, executive director of food service at market research firm NPD Group, who said that Dairy Queen's Grill & Chill model expansion is a great move for the brand.
Said Carter, “They’re getting good traction with the Grill & Chill concept and it’s helping to drive sales."
